Executive Chef 
Mike Burman

With over 20 years of experience, Chef Mike brings a wealth of culinary expertise to our team and his passion for food and dedication to his craft shine through in every dish he creates.

Born and raised on the east coast, Mike is a proud graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Rhode Island. In 2004, he made the leap to island life here on Maui and has made his mark at prestigious establishments such as the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua and The Plantation House. As Chef de Cuisine, he captivated diners with his innovative dishes that fused tradition with creativity, placing a paramount emphasis on the bounty of locally sourced ingredients that Maui has to offer. Outside of the kitchen, Mike is a dedicated family man and an avid jiu jitsu practitioner.

Jessica Qsar

Born and raised in San Diego, Jessica fell in love with the year round growing season of California and the bounty of seafood the Pacific coast provided.

 

After 10+ years in hotel and restaurant management, she couldn't ignore the call to get back in the kitchen and relocated to NYC to attend The Natural Gourmet Institute and obtain her culinary diploma.

 

She has lived and cooked in Spain, San Diego, NYC and Colorado before settling back down on Maui to establish the Maui Personal Chef team.

 

As the Chef owner of MPC, her focus is the planning and management of bookings for Chef Mike Burman and staff but you can still find her cooking at special events from time to time.
